While I was pleased to make an appearance in my hometown paper in just three months in Rockdale -- and NOT in the police log! -- I was overwhelmed by this article. As you read it, please keep in mind that I did not write it. The quotes attributed to me are correct, but the author took this story a long way -- and to her credit -- in order to benefit a cause.

The single greatest blessing of my life has been the privilege of adopting and raising Peter, Claire, and Shannon. They are simply beautiful children, and I am so very proud of them. Claire has finished her second year at Pomona College, Shannon likewise her second at Bryn Mawr. Peter is working his way toward a career in restaurant management. These kids are so full of life and love and have achieved wonderful things already . . . and they have only just begun! We can expect great things from these three. Following is a portrait I took of them just before I left California. You can see for yourselves how beautiful they are . . . and they have beautiful hearts, as well. Thank you, kids, for all you brought into my life.
